It’s definitely not understandable for me.
The main concept of the bittorrent is the idea that files could be downloaded from other users, not only from the file hosting itself. Thats p2p after all! You obviously need to limit bandwidth on your own server to e.g. 200 kB/s for upload. Yeah, that’s very slow, but when a few users will download it and begin to seed, others will download that file from them, and not from your server.
So huge traffic will only appear if you don’t limit upload speed on your server, and you surely don’t want to make upload speeds unlimited.
Yes, but it is also dependent on how many people are downloading the same file at the same time so the process can be shared.
If only a couple people are downloading then each persons upload will be higher.
You have a valid point about limiting upload speed but the overall amount of usage could still end up being quite high.
All the UnifL releases are now hosted on exactly this server, so everyone who wants to download them has to do it from this server only. Using bittorrent (thus allowing users to download from each other as well) we can only make overall server bandwidth lower, not higher.
anywhere i can get the latest one? Just bought a new Samsung np350e7c, and wiped windows 8 and “UPGRADED” to Windows 7 64, and AMD Catalyst driver wint install as is only designed for windows 8 HD Radeon 7670M, and Intel 4000
So many people are recommending this and if it works I will definitely donate a fair amount of money for your hard work. This is the only possibility I canfind to get the laptop up and running
Understandable. Torrents can suck the life from a server and its bandwidth. Surprised you gave it a try.
Yeh, 50 Mbit/s

Just simply download via direct links or 12.11 or 12.10. Costumize with new Intel. Refer to manual.
Hey in case you want someone for site maintenance or uploading your drivers to various servers, i can help.
